Old Town Eureka is a 350-acre district that was listed on the National Register and is designated a California Historical Landmark. The City of Eureka is a Certified Local Government and a designated Main Street Community.

CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL BUILDING, SACRAMENTO

The State Capitol is California Historical Landmark #872 and was listed on the National Register in 1973. The Office of Historic Preservation is consulted about projects affecting the building and grounds.

ROUND HOUSE, INDIAN GRINDING STATE HISTORIC PARK, AMADOR COUNTY

The reconstructed roundhouse at Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park, Amador County, is used today for dances and ceremonies throughout the year. At 60 feet in diameter, it is one of the largest roundhouses in existence.
