Agenda

The Training Team, supported by DPR staff and R2S2 Project Team members, is comprised of 3 subject matter experts with experience working in the field, as well as OCM for communication. This agenda provides a glimpse into the training experience. In addition to the providing the instructor-led training, designed to prepare DPR staff to train their colleagues, the Training Team has developed a virtual training experience --  a repository of R2S2 training materials that includes self-paced e-learning opportunities. Module 2: This User Guide includes an overview of the internal (R2S2) and external (ReserveCaliforniaTM) facing components of the new reservation service. Recreation Dynamics is the software application for DPR’s new reservation system. This is a Customized Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solution that has been configured for DPR’s operational needs.

Module 3: This User Guide includes an overview of R2S2 point-of-sale (POS) equipment, how to use the equipment components and troubleshoot equipment-related issues. Equipment is selected to meet DPR’s operational needs at specific sites. DPR Leadership continues to work with District Superintendents to refine equipment orders for fee collection locations.

Module 9:  This module covers creating, modifying, and cancelling reservations for reservable camping, lodging and group day use facilities; and checking visitors in and out of these facilities.
Module 13: This module covers administrative functions performed in R2S2, including adding and modifying inventory, generating reports and managing R2S2 user accounts.
Module 14: This module provides information about managing batches and deposits and reconciling shortages and overages.
