Day-use fees may be waived for K through 12 day-use fieldtrips at Andrew Molera State Park with an approved School Group Reservation Request Form (DPR124). Be sure to indicate the number of vehicles that will be arriving at the park. Buses are not permitted and cannot be accomodated in the parking lot at this park.

The completed DPR124 may be scanned and emailed as a pdf document to bigsurevents@parks.ca.gov and must be received at least fifteen (15) days in advance of the proposed date of your visit.

A separate, written request is required for a ranger or park interpreter led program and must be received at least thirty (30) days in advance of the fieldtrip to allow preparation and scheduling by park personnel.  Ranger and/or park interpreter led programs are dependent on staff availability.

Camping is not included under this program.

Online Home Learning Programs through the Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students (PORTS) is available for K-12 students.  Visit https://ports.parks.ca.gov/ for more information.

School Groups that want to visit the beach in this park, please note the following:  You cannot drive to the beach at this park.  The hike to the beach is via a one (1) mile trail with negligible elevation gain.  Additionally, you must cross a narrow, seasonal footbridge over the Big Sur River to reach the beach.  This footbridge will not be in place between October to mid-June; therefore, reaching some areas of the park, including the beach, during this timeframe would require the group to cross through or ford the river.  River crossings may be prohibited during rain or if the river is running high and/or fast.
