Building Connections: Linking People to Trails and Each Other

This year’s event focuses on the role of trails in connecting people to the land and to each other.

Whether you use trails for recreation, fitness, transportation or solitude, trails take us where we want to go and where we want to be.

Trails attract all types of people and all types of user groups, whether you run or ride, hike or are on horseback, skate or skip, whether you’re with your dog, your kids, or your grandparent. Everyone needs to experience the great outdoors.

Award Program

The Awards Program is an opportunity to bring acknowledgement and appreciation to the individuals, organizations, agencies, and businesses that, through their hard work, integrity, and social responsibility have made outstanding contributions to promote, enhance, or expand public awareness and use of trails and greenways in California during the previous calendar year.

Congratulations to all of our award winners!
