Commission Meeting: December 9

The Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission will hold a virtual meeting on December 9, 2021.

As a result of the COVID-19 emergency and the Governor's Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-33-20, this Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Commission meeting will occur virtually through video and teleconference. There will not be a physical place where the public can go in-person to make public comments. The OHMVR Commission is conducting the meeting virtually to avoid public gathering and protect public health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The OHMVR Commission will be using the video conferencing service, Zoom, to host the meeting and allow for remote public participation.

Comments on the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (Scripps) Interim Year 3 Report were solicited from San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and the Scientific Advisory Group. Both entities were critical of many parts of the report and disputed the principal findings. Dr. Russell from Scripps has provided to Parks her responses to those comments that discuss confidential data collected by APCD. Parks will post all comments and responses related to the Scripps report once the APCD releases the data as part of a larger report in early 2022.

Some statements in the letters/comments may be outdated due to other materials becoming available later in the process.
