California State Parks Announces Three Concession Opportunities for Watersports at Folsom Lake State Recreation Areas
FOLSOM, Calif. –California State Parks is accepting proposals for three five-year concession contracts with the option to extend for an additional five years for watersport activities at the Lake Natoma area of Folsom Lake State Recreation Area (SRA). Proposals are being accepted starting July 1 through Sept. 13, 2021, by 2 p.m.

Two concession contract opportunities to operate paddle craft classes and rentals are located at Negro Bar and Willow Creek. The third to operate paddle craft classes and outings is located at Nimbus Flat.
An optional tour of the concession premises will be held at 9:00 a.m. on July 16, 2021 at Negro Bar. For information on how to participate, please contact Folsom Sector Superintendent Richard Preston Le-May at (916) 988-0205.

Lake Natoma is located downstream from Folsom Lake, which is popular for crew races, sailing, kayaking and other aquatic sports. Lake Natoma has three locations that currently support non-motorized watercraft concession operations: Negro Bar, Nimbus Flat, and Willow Creek.
