WE will provide:
- water filters
- hot water for AM/PM meals
- traditional teas

YOU will provide:
- transportation

- bring all your own food
- be able to hike up to 10 miles per day
- tent/sleeping bag/ sleeping pad
- all equipment on checklist

*We recommend you bring "just add hot water" meals, however if you would like to prepare personal meals please bring your own stove and cookware. The Backcountry Naturalists will communally cook their own meals, providing examples of backcountry recipes.

Day One:

 
Breakfast: Oatmeal, powder milk, brown sugar, mixed nuts, craisins, other dried fruit, cinnamon, coffee or tea.
(note: prepare lunch before cleaning breakfast cookware)
 
Lunch: PB&J and/or salami with hard cheese, trail mix
 
Dinner: Freeze dried “just add water” meals. See www.mountainhouse.com or similar. (eg. spaghetti, chicken stew, etc.)
 
Day Two:
 
Breakfast: Cheesy grits - dry grits, shredded cheddar cheese, coffee or tea
 
Lunch: PB&J and/or salami with hard cheese, trail mix
 
Dinner: Freeze dried “just add hot water” meal.
 
Day Three:
 
Breakfast: Oatmeal, powder milk, brown sugar, mixed nuts, craisins, other dried fruit, cinnamon, coffee or tea
 
Lunch: PB&J and/or salami with hard cheese, trail mix

Dinner: Freeze dried “just add hot water” meal.
