Native Plant Garden Volunteer Workday

Castle Rock Native Plant Garden Workday — Sunday, June 28th, 9:00am - Noon. Come on up to Castle Rock for a lovely morning (working) in the garden! Inspired by our Earth Day weekend event back in April, where we removed an entire pickup bed full of Italian thistle in addition to distributing new playground-grade wood chips in the Kirkland play area, we knew we had to do this again. And you're all invited!

This time we'll be doing more work in the native plant garden, distributing the last of the wood chips, and possibly doing some invasive plant and/or trash removal nearby. Be sure to bring lunch and a water bottle and wear weather-appropriate work clothes. All ages are welcome but minors must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
