Jr Ranger Program: Navigate like a Sailor!

Excited to become an official Junior Ranger? Join California State Park interpreters in exploring California's rich cultural heritage, vast biodiversity, and unique natural resources as you collect stamps from parks all across the State. First time Jr Rangers will receive logbooks to begin their journey!

This month, Jr Rangers can explore the ins and outs of navigating like a sailor in 1800s Old Town San Diego. In this 30 - 45 minute program, participants will learn about the uses of a compass and a sextant, as they navigate through the makers placed around the plaza. Come discover California's rich cultural heritage and become a Jr. Ranger at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. 

Sign up at the Robinson Rose Visitor Center until 11:30 or at the program, space permitting.  Maximum of 12 Children ages 7 – 12 years.
