Description of event: Help remove invasive weeds at Malibu Lagoon.  All ages welcome.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Bring garden gloves, hats, sunscreen, snacks, and water.  Removing invasive weeds protects important habitat for local wildlife and safeguards biodiversity.  Join State Parks Natural Resources Staff for a fun day of pulling weeds, digging out pampas grass, and yanking tamarisk.  Limited parking is available at the Malibu Lagoon parking lot at PCH and Cross Creek.  Volunteer free parking passes will be provided.  Free public parking is also available across the street at the shopping center.
