Campfire Program: Coyotes
At the Pantoll Stage in the Pantoll Campground
Come to the Pantoll Stage in the Pantoll Campground for an exploration of one of Mt Tam's key predators: the coyote.
Love them or hate them, coyotes have an important role in many ecosystems. They are also culturally important to many groups of people. Learn about this canid's abilities, how people have changed this animal, and discuss coexisting with this much-maligned song dog.
The Pantoll Stage area has no seating, so bring your own chairs. Visitors are also welcome to bring food and beverages to the program (As long as they clean up! We don't need to feed coyotes, racoons, or other wildlife). The program should be about 45 minutes long. Have a flashlight or headlamp handy as it may be dark after the program.
