Overview

The 19,000-square-foot Leland Stanford Mansion is a stunning example of the splendor and elegance of the Victorian era in California. Guided tours are offered daily from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (last tour begins at 4:00 pm). Phone (916) 324-0575 or (916) 324-9266 for more information.

Exhibits/Programs

Visitor Center: adjacent to the Mansion, the Visitor Center is accessible. Videos offer Spanish or English captions. Alternate format materials include a tactile model of the Mansion.

The Mansion: an elevator and lift are available for use to access the Mansion. Interior openings to the 2nd and 3rd floors from the elevator are about 29.5 inches wide. A travel wheelchair and assistive listening system are available.
