Carpinteria State Beach has four campground loops: Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and San Miguel named after the Channel Islands. Campsites are open year-round and reservations can be made through ReserveCalifornia.com or by calling 1-800-444-7275. Reservations for Carpinteria State Beach can be made day-of or in advance up to six months to the day of the arrival date.

TYPE OF CAMPSITES: Tent, trailer/RV, hike and bike, and group
# OF CAMPSITES: 200
RESERVATIONS & WALKS-UPS Reservations are available all year except for February 21, 2023 – March 21, 2023. During this time, all available campsites, including group sites will be on a walk-up basis (first-come, first-served).
FEES: Fees vary depending on site type. Standard tent/RV sites: $40-$70/night. Group sites: $180-$290/night. Hike and bike: $10/night
CHECK IN: 2 pm CHECK OUT: 12 pm noon
MAX # OF PEOPLE: Eight people per standard campsite (not including group and hike and bike)
VEHICLES: Fee for one vehicle is included in campsite fee for standard sites (group sites vary). Additional $10 fee applies for each extra vehicle (up to 2 additional vehicles) and must be paid in person.
AMENITIES: Camp store, educational programs, dump station, flush toilets, hot showers, beach showers
