Old Town San Diego State Historic Park Announces Concession Opportunity For Historic Retail Store

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) is accepting proposals from businesses to provide operations for historic retail store services to visitors at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park (OTSDSHP) in San Diego.

Proposals will be accepted from April 5 through June 17, 2024, for a 5-year concession contract, with a department option to extend the term an additional five years, for the operation of historic retail store services for the public. A copy of the department’s Request for Proposals (RFP) is available for download at parks.ca.gov/concessions.\

To support interested parties with details about this opportunity, State Parks will be holding a pre-proposal meeting on Thursday, April 25 at 3 p.m. at OTSDSHP.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All proposers must submit a Letter of Intent to bid, as well as any questions related to the content of the RFP, to the state representative, Megan Boisvert, no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024. Proposers who submit a proposal but fail to submit a Letter of Intent will be disqualified.

Proposals must be delivered in person or by mail no later than 2 p.m. on June 17, 2024,
to the California Department of Parks and Recreation, 715 P Street, 13th floor,
Sacramento, CA 95814.
