 Hello, this is Agent Kestrel at the headquarters for the Colorado Desert Distrtict, which includes Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and Palomar Mountain State Park. Our team of Agents of Discovery field agents are out in the parks on missions right now. Agent Cache is in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and Agent Borrego is at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park visitor center. They could use your help to complete their missions.

Welcome Agents! I'm Agent Borrego and I'm at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park which is the traditional homeland of the Kumeyaay and Cahuilla peoples. I need help discovering the many cool, extreme, and crazy plants and animals that make the park their home. There is so much to discover and I need your help. Are you ready?!

Welcome to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park! An abundance of plants and animals call this park their home. California State Parks is proud to preserve the biodiversity found here for today’s visitors and future generations.

We would like to thank the Kumeyaay for protecting and nurturing the flora and fauna of Ah-ha’ Kwe-ah-mac’ (Cuyamaca) for thousands of years. The Kumeyaay were the first people of the land and are the current stewards of generations of ancestral knowledge of regional biodiversity.
