School Group Reservations

Our State Beach is proud to educational programs for K-12 School Groups. School groups receive free parking when they come to our State Beach for an educational program, so parking is no longer free for educational groups who use our facility for picnics, unless an educational component is also part of your visit.  Please refer to the School Group Packet for descriptions of these programs and other additional information. We ask for a $1 per student donation. If your group is interested in participating in one of our programs, please fill out the School Group Reservation Request within 15 days of your proposed date. We look forward to sharing the beauty of our beaches with you.

Tour Reservations

We are also happy to offer tours of our Lifeguard Headquarters. Please read through the Tour Reservation Letter for a description of the tours. If you would like to participate in a tour, please fill out the Tour Reservation Request within 15 days of your proposed date. Tour groups are allowed free parking for the tour – school groups may stay at the beach after the tour without an additional fee.  Non-school groups will need to pay the Day Use Fee if they wish to stay at the beach after the tour.

Outreach Programs

Can’t come to State Parks? Then we will come to you! We are happy to offer several 45 minute educational programs that make the beach come alive to your students. Our programs are low-tech and concentrate on providing a hands-on & interactive experience for your class. All outreach programs are dependent upon available staffing. Please refer to the Outreach Program Information Letter & the Outreach Program Standards. If your class is interested in participating in one of our programs, please fill out the Outreach Program Request Form & send in your request at least 15 days prior to your proposed date.
