Each project funded by the California State Parks Revenue Generation Program is authorized by the Director and sent to the appropriate control agency for external review (State Treasures Office and/or Department of Finance).  As funding becomes available, department staff executes project agreements with designated project managers in the state park districts.  Agreements specify how the project manager will report progress and future revenue generated by the projects.  Once an overall project agreement is signed, the total amount of requested project funds is made available to the District's project manager.  Read Project Guidelines and Criteria

Project managers are required to submit quarterly reports that include:
• Cash flow analysis and dollars spent;
• Milestones achieved;
• Time to completion of project and whether project is on track;
• Photographs to document work completed.
