  • The California Department of Parks and Recreation is developing an Equestrian Management Plan for Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades.  The plan will establish policies and guidelines for horse-related activities and programs at Will Rogers State Historic Park.

The Department conducted a public meeting  on April 28, 2005 to describe the objectives of the plan and to obtain public input on the scope and framework of the plan.  As the plan is developed, there will be additional opportunities for public review and comment.  At this time, the schedule calls for development of a draft plan over the summer, with a public review period in July and another public meeting in August 2005.
