The Monterey Dunes Natural History Association serves California State Beaches between Monterey and the Pajaro River.  Association programs are dedicated to public education, interpretation, and protection of coastal resources.  Promoting public access is also a prime concern.

Supported programs include Adopt-a Beach, annual Coastal Cleanup, Snowy Plover Protection, dune restoration, and support the State Park volunteers, such as the Dunes Docents and Snowy Plover Guardians.  The Sandpaper newsletter notifies members of opportunites to protect and restore the beautiful coastline and make informed decisions.  The association also sponsors a free public lecture series, covering natural history topics and other pertinent issues.

The Monterey Dunes Natural History Association has proven to be valuable ally to California State Parks.  Join them by becoming a member!
