SONOMA PETALUMA PARKS, Inc., formerly known as Sonoma/Petaluma State Historic Parks Association, Inc., is a non-profit organization supporting educational and historic activities of the Sonoma State Park including the Mission San Francisco Solano, the Soldier's Barracks, the Vallejo Home and Petaluma Adobe.

In cooperating with the State Parks, the association sponsors the following annual events: Children's Day at the Mission, Crafts of the Past, Vallejo's Birthday Party, Kite Day, Victorian Ornament Day and Christmas at the MIssion as well as a Student Historic Contest and Exhibition for fourth grade students in Sonoma.

Income from the Barracks museum sales area, donations, memberships and special events provides funding for interpretive programs and restoration projects.
