CalWORKS and Seasonal and Part-time (non-testing) hiring

State law requires persons receiving public assistance under the CalWORKS Program to be given priority consideration (proof of CalWORKS eligibility must be provided) for vacancies in State Civil Service positions allocated to non-testing (seasonal and part-time) classifications. Therefore, priority consideration will be given to these applicants who meet the qualifications for a seasonal job classification. If applicable, attach a verification of CalWORKS eligibility, which may include the most recent Notice of Action showing TANF eligibility or a copy of last aid check stub. Applicants are responsible for providing verification.
