Youth Aide

During the summer months or on a part-time basis during the school year, Youth Aides perform a variety of tasks requiring limited or no work experience. Youth Aides assist other park employees with manual labor, grounds maintenance, clerical or reception and telephone answering.


Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a work permit as required by the California Education Code if the applicant is under 18 years of age. Youth Aides must possess the ability to work cooperatively with others and follow simple oral directions. They must have the desire to develop job skills and proper work habits through work experience.
