School Group Train Ride

The School Group Train Ride Program is designed for all students K-12.

Classes meet at the Central Pacific Passenger Station for a 50 minute train ride following the tracks of the Museum's historic Sacramento Southern Railroad, along the Sacramento River's levees. 

School Group Size:
10 person minimum with a maximum of 45
Adult Supervision Requirement:
1 adult for every 10 students

Location:
Meet at the Central Pacific Passenger Station in Old Sacramento State Historic Park.

Schedule and Fees:
Tuesday's only
February, March, April and October
Train leaves 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
$150 flat fee paid by cash or check at Sac southern Depot on day of visit.
